At God as CEO™, we have a Code of Values™ which guide our day-to-day actions so that
we glorify God in what we do as we strive to live out the timeless biblical principles of Love, Excellence and Truth.
Every meeting at God as CEO™ begins with a deep reflection on, at least, one of our Code of Values™.
We believe if we treat people with respect and integrity, success will follow.

We Believe...

… in superior service to our customers, our community and to each other as members of the God as CEO™ team. Proverbs 21:5 (NLT) Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.

… in counting our blessings every day in every way. Proverbs 14:30 (MSG) A sound mind makes for a robust body, but runaway emotions corrode the bones.

… success is the result of clear, cooperative, positive thinking. Proverbs 17:22 (AMP) A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

… that loyalty adds meaning to our lives. Proverbs 11:3 (NIV) The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

… management should seek out and recognize what people are doing right and treat every associate with respect. Proverbs 18:21 (MSG) Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.

… challenges should be used as learning experiences. Proverbs 13:13 (NIV) Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded.

… our Creator put us on this earth to succeed. We will accept our daily successes humbly, knowing that a higher power is guiding us. Proverbs 11:2 (NIV) When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

… in the untapped potential of every human being. Every person we help achieve their potential fulfills our mission. Proverbs 22:11 (NIV) One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace will have the king for a friend.

… we must re-earn our positions every day in every way. Proverbs 10:4 (NIV) Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

… in building our country through the free enterprise system. We demonstrate this belief by continually attracting strong people to the God as CEO™ team. Proverbs 24:3 (NIV) By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.

We live our Code of Values by...

… treating others as we would like to be treated. Proverbs 17:9 (NLT) Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

… listening with the intent to understand what is being said and acknowledging that what is said is important to the speaker. Proverbs 18:13 (NIV) To answer before listening, that is folly and shame.

… responding in a timely fashion. Proverbs 14:23 (NIV) All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

… speaking calmly, and respectfully, without profanity or sarcasm. Proverbs 15:1 (NIV) A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

… acknowledging everyone as right from their own perspective. Proverbs 15:23 (NIV) A person finds joy in giving an apt reply and how good is a timely word!

… making only agreements we are willing, able and intend to keep. Proverbs 13:3 (MSG) Careful words make for a careful life; careless talk may ruin everything.

… communicating any potentially broken agreements at the first appropriate opportunity to all parties concerned. Proverbs 16:13 (MSG) Good leaders cultivate honest speech; they love advisers who tell them the truth.

… looking to the system for correction and proposing all possible solutions if something is not working. Proverbs 9:12 (NIV) If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.

… operating in a responsible manner; “above the line.” Proverbs 22:1 (NIV) A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

… communicating honestly and with purpose. Proverbs 15:2 (MSG) Knowledge flows like spring water from the wise; fools are leaky faucets, dripping nonsense.

… asking clarifying questions if we disagree or do not understand. Proverbs 1:5 (AMP) The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly].

… never saying anything about anyone that we would not say to him or her. Proverbs 15:27 (MSG) A greedy and grasping person destroys community; those who refuse to exploit live and let live.

… continuously striving to maximize internal and external customer loyalty. Proverbs 27:23 (NIV) Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds.

… making our best effort to understand and appreciate the customer’s needs in every situation. Proverbs 14:29 (AMP) He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exposes and exalts his folly (foolishness).

Proverbs 15 : 13 (MSG) A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad face makes it hard to get through the day.
